Ragging includes any act that causes physical, mental, emotional or psychological distress to another student.

Disciplinary Action

Ragging is a punishable offence. Depending upon the severity, disciplinary action may include:

Written Warning

Official warning issued by the institution.

Suspension

Temporary suspension from classes or hostel.

Expulsion

Permanent removal in serious cases.

Legal Proceedings

Cases may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Important Information

  • Every complaint is kept strictly confidential.
  • Anonymous complaints are accepted when supported by evidence.
  • Attach documents, screenshots or photographs whenever possible.
  • False complaints may invite disciplinary action.
  • Students can approach Anti-Ragging Committee anytime.
